SPORT TRENDS: WARMUP TRAINING: KOBE BRYANT SHOOTING WARMUP

From: http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/15179469/kobe-bryant-famous-pregame-shooting-routine. Bryant will typically begin beneath the rim, making 15 to 20 shots with each hand just to get loose, to gain a rhythm and a feel for the ball going through the net.

He'll then move to midrange and shoot from about 15 feet along each baseline, at each wing, at the free-throw line area, making 15-20 shots at each spot.

He'll then sink some free throws, though there's no limit there.Then, Bryant will move beyond the arc, shooting 3-pointers from each corner, each wing and the top of the key, making between 10 and 20 shots at each spot.

Bryant will then move back inside the arc, shoot more free throws and begin working closer to the basket.

"It's always in, out, back in," Outlaw said of Bryant's routine.

From there, Bryant works on a wide array of shots.

"The same moves that we see him do within the game, I can't tell you how many times he's practiced that exact same move -- pump-fake, jab, pump-fake, jab, cross-over, one-dribble pull-up -- in the last five years. It's been thousands of times."

Outlaw added, "Everything that he does within the course of the game, when he has the ball, it's the same thing you see him do within his workouts. And he's meticulous about it. The shot fake, the jab, bouncing the ball, elongating that foot, putting the ball out in front, bringing the other one with him. He's over-emphasizing everything that he does so that when he gets in the game, it's second nature to him."

They'll use one ball or sometimes two if Bryant wants to pick up the pace in his workout. In all, Bryant's pregame shooting routine lasts about 20-30 minutes, during which he'll make around 250 shots before leaving the court, lathered in sweat. As always, Bryant prefers solitude on the court.

Because top water oscillations are waves, they conform to Wave Rules of addition and subtration. When the resulting collapsed waveform reaches the shore in more of a compression wave than an oscillation, the wave bounces as a result of conservation of momentum M1V1=M2V2 (vectors ommited), so by Newton's Third Law, (Bernoulli's P+1/2mv^2+rhogh = K)the resulting reaction is a backwash that affects the pattern of incoming waves. Enter the Frequency factor. If this backwash is of substantial force and interfering pattern the incoming wave will reduce its collapsing action, at the same time the shore bottom geography is interacting with the wave by creating a Channel where the Upper Oscillation does not interphere with the returning momentum shift, so the bottom current flows under the top oscilation, reinforcing the cicling and Wave collapse of the Wave. Wave Periods are related to the Fetch as a function of Laminar Air flow or Enter Fluid Dynamics, Reynolds number. In the open ocean, where wind is no longer impeded by buildings, the wind blows in an organized manner called Fetch. If the wind is the dog then the fetch is the force by which the dog chases the frisbee. So the fetch is a Vector function of force, time, and direction. This is a 4-D equation that is not so simple to imagine when there are multiple fetches in the storm. The result of this fetch is the Amplitude. Generally when these factors are put all together the longer the Period at the Same Amplitude will result in a more organized Wave Collapse. Enjoy!

1-Increase stroke frequency between 70-90 Strokes/Minute.

2-Do hypoxic Intervals start with 1-3-1, then go up to 1-3-5-3-1, 1-3-3-7, mix it up, but be careful. It takes time to develop your lung oxygen capacity. 4-Understand your limits. Overexercising may hurt you. Instead of trying to be Michael Phelps, try to beat your own time. Time yourself and gradually increase your personal best. Working out at 80% your maximum is the best way to build resistence over time. Working out at 100% will increase exponentially your Lactic Acid production and may hurt you in the end. We'll include several references to guide you through your workouts.

5-Visit a Doctor. Understand your Oxygenation, Lung Volume, Active Lung capacity, Working Lung Capacity, CO2 output, and know your Salt, Sodium, Potassium, know your proteins Albumin, Creatinine, know your Red Blood Cells, and White Blood cells, in whole get routine exams for prevention as well as to get Medical attention if you detect your efficiency has dropped or feel generally tired.

6-Eat, Eat, Eat, Eat, Eat, frequently, frequently, frequently. Maintain a steady sugar level. Resupply immediately after a workout. Consult a professional to develop a diet plan for your recreational or competitive swimming plan.

7-Supplement Swimming with weightlifting or other recreational activities.
